I found this idea on a friend's blog, and since I have been out of ideas for posts lately, I thought I'd just copy her :) (she copied it from someone else too!).
1. When it's time to buy a new stick of deodorant, I have to smell the different kinds first. This takes quite a while, since each has a plastic doodad on it that can be very difficult to remove. I smell about 10, gagging and snarking, before I return to the same brand I always buy: Degree.
2. It drives me crazy when a person driving starts yelling at other drivers. Road rage is really really lame. Seriously, they can't hear you. You sound like a dweeb. (Not talking about my huz!)
3. I hate it when my husband is right and I'm wrong. It happens a lot. I got a canker sore on my lip a month ago, and he told me to put mustard on it. I balked and insisted that it would be fine and go away on it's own. A week later, it was hurting so bad, I secretly put some mustard on it. It was better within 3 days and stopped hurting immediately (wellll... the mustard hurt a lot at first, but only for a minute.) Now, I think mustard heals everything. Except poison ivy. Mustard definitely does nothing for poison ivy.
4. If I could have ANY job in the entire world, it would be the job I have. I love being a stay at home mom. I want to be better at it - be the kind of mom that plans lots of amazing educational activities and outings while simultaneously doing laundry, making a delicious/nutritious dinner and teaching my children praise songs... There's always room for improvement! ...If I could get paid for anything, I would be a song writer. :)
5. I like to clean my ears out with Qtips. I not only love the way it feels, I love the way it sounds.
6. Castle is my favorite TV show. We own seasons 1-3. Now I have to wait A YEAR for season 4 to come out... BAH!!! (we don't have cable by choice and our computer is much to slow for Hulu).
7. Even though I hate being pregnant, I would love to have more kids. No, I am not pregnant now. I wish I liked being pregnant, but I'm too much of a whiner. It's very painful; I tend to be sick for at least half of it; the exhaustion is overwhelming; gaining and losing 50+ pounds in a year is really hard on a body.... and on the other hand ... it's such a miracle, growing a child in your body - the product of the covenant love I share with my husband and the miracle of life from God. Robbie and I want to have 4 total!
8. I like school. I miss taking tests and sucking up to teachers and getting A's on everything.
9. I am very particular about keeping a clean fridge and microwave. If anything spills in either, I clean it right away.
10. I wish I'd never stopped playing the cello. I gave it up in middle school after 3 years because our teacher got pregnant and scared me with her pregnancy hormones. Yikes. I was really good back then, always 1st or 2nd chair (out of 8 or so).
